I've not seen any difference in pigmentation or scars yet, but I've only used it for a week or two. It's a nice face soap. leaves you feeling clean but without tight skin.

If you're looking for the lightening effects of kojic acid, having it in soap form seems like a good idea for skin other than on the face. I prefer a serum for my face, this soap is a bit too strong for that purpose for me. I also prefer more natural, subtle fragrances. This soap is rather perfumey. That said, it's generously sized and convenient for use on hands, underarms, whatever else you may want to try to lighten while cleansing.

I used this soap for almost a month, every night on my face and I noticed a very mild difference. I don't have too much acne scars, but I could notice that my skin was whiter and softer. Very easy to use, very delicate with my skin, I didn't like the scent but it is very mild, nothing too strong.

This soap is big size 200grams can last pretty long time. The wrapping is geisha pattern which makes me believe it is related to Asian beauty. The soap has faint berry blossom scent. There is no grates inside although it is exfoliating soap. It lathers up well and cleans effectively. The price is a bit high though.

It's been a while since I used soap bars rather than shower gel.This works well on my oily skin, specifically on my face where it removes greasy oils and it doesn't dry out my skin either, which is always a good sign. It's likewise good for the rest of my body too. It builds a nice lather when wet enough.It doesn't have a strong scent, unlike seemingly all body gels, which in my view is a good thing.I'm not sure what the Kojic Acid does, if anything at all beyond a marketing message, so cannot confirm one way or the other regarding that.Recommended.

I’ve been using this soap for over a week now and I have to say I think it’s working. I suffer from acne no matter what I do and thought I’d give this a chance. It’s a large bar of soap so a little goes a long way and will last for a long time. Although it’s a peachy colour this doesn’t stain the skin and doesn’t have a chemical smell. It’s really quite pleasant in fragrance. It lathers well and doesn’t leave your skin feeling uncomfortable.I don’t normally like using a bar of soap on my face due to having sensitive skin, but I have been using this and breakouts don’t seem to be occurring as badly. For the amount you get in net weight the price is good value. If I’m honest and it’s something that helps with breakouts I’d pay.

Ok, so I have been using this in the evening after I double cleanse with a non foaming cleanser (so so important for your skin trust me). I have been using it as a topical treatment for areas of acne scarring (go your whole life without problems then your 30’s arrive). I will gently apply to wet clean skin without allowing it to foam because this strips the natural oils from your skin which is not good. Then wash it off and very gently dab my skin with a damp clean face cloth then straight into my nighttime routine. Important to note here that you must and I repeat must use sunblock every day if your skincare routine includes an acid, retinol or retinoid. This is where my sun damage comes from because I didn’t realise. Make sure you have a sunblock that covers all rays - blue light etc. Apply 3 times a day 365 days of the year and yes in the U.K.Using it this way I’ve noticed that alongside my skincare routine it has helped to brighten my sun damage and acne scarring. It’s the kojic acid! I don’t use it in the am because I use a different acid then and it’s best to be careful and intentional with your routine and to educate yourself on what your skin truly needs. Still I will not use every night because it can make your skin a little sensitive, I’ve noticed mine is today so I won’t use tonight, you get the gist. What I mean by this is that the skin might tingle when apply moisturiser. If it does, take a break. Especially if you notice any redness.So would I recommend? Yes if you have an understanding of what your skin needs and are very careful to not let it foam on the skin (easy to do with a wet face) and make sure that at no point does your skin feel squeaky clean because that’s surface dryness. It’s good for me as a topical and can see the damage breaking up faster which is good. But I’d not rely on this on its own.You do get a big bar for the price so I think it definitely has value. I do think that everyone needs to be careful with what they use and why.

Although this is sold as an exfoliating soap, I think it’s more of a cleansing soap because of its ingredients. It importantly contains kojic acid, which helps in the removal of dirt, blackheads, and whiteheads. This ingredient cannot in itself lighten natural dark skin, but does have properties which enable the user to lighten non-normal pigmentation caused by freckles, age spots, acne scars, or melasma. Kojic acid also acts as an antioxidant.I found that this quickly produced a lovely creamy lather, and has a subtle pleasant fragrance. To receive the full benefits, it’s best to use your Geisha soap in the evening, then leave it on your skin for 10 - 30 seconds before rinsing off. As stated on the packaging, its important to additionally apply an SPF cream to your bare skin before you venture outdoors. Given my positive experience of using this soap, and it’s reasonable price, I have no hesitation in recommending this product to fellow Amazon customers.

This is a wonderful soapThe bar is substantial and it lathers beautifullyIt is also very effective at giving the skin a hydrated, soft, clean and non oily feel and texture - I use it showering on my face and body and it’s noticeably effectiveThere are no adverse effects and I find that it is probably the nicest all round soap I’ve ever usedIt also lasts and lasts ! This is a nice bar of soap that really does a good job. It smells very nice when using it.I like soap like this for my skin. Helps keep it in peek condition and fresh looking. Even with my tattoos I need to be careful what soap I use. This is really nice soap that works for me. I also like the price and will be sure to buy more when needed.Gets top marks of 5-5. Nice soap I would recommend.

Unlike other acid soaps I’ve tried this one actually smells nice!Large size, will last a good while.Also great for evening skin tones.It’s not overly harsh and doesn’t irritate my skin.It has a good moisturising quality to it rather then dry your skin out like some acid soaps can.

A nice sized bar of exfoliating soap, with a good weight to it.I like a nice exfoliating scrub in the morning, it gets your skin all shiny and bright for the morning ahead.The soap contains Kojic Acid mixed with Coconut Oil; Konica acids prevents the body from making melolin, so if your planning on going out in the sun after using this, I would put some SPF cream on. The coconut oil will work as a moisturiser.A perfect mix to moisturize, lighten and soften your complexion and lathers up really quickly. It has a faint aroma of orange or tangerine, which smells really nice first thing in the morning.It’s supposed to reduce acne scarring, only time will tell.

I’ve tried other Kojic acid soaps and this one is by far the most effective at improving skin discolouration.

I really like it the scent is great gives me nostalgic memories, it turned some of my dark spots lighter from the first use which is insane I will be buying more products from them.

I like the product thus far! I can tell a difference in my skin already ! Acne is reduced and dark spots are getting somewhat lighter! I just have to remain consistent by using it twice a day. Also, do not leave on your skin for extended periods of time! I lather it up, massage it in,and let it sit on my face while I brush my teeth.
